Magnesia castable uses fused magnesia or sintered magnesia as raw material and periclase ,cement, magnesium chloride, magnesium sulfate, water glass and polyphosphate as binder.
Mainly used in open hearth furnaces, electric furnaces, oxidation converters, non-ferrous metal smelting furnaces, cement kilns and alkaline refractory calcining kilns. Magnesia castables are widely used in chemical industry, petroleum, metallurgy, silicate, machinery manufacturing, power and other industrial fields. Magnesia refractory materials have become one of the auxiliary materials widely used in the metallurgical industry due to their high fire resistance, high temperature strength and resistance to alkaline slag corrosion.
