This type of castable has high requirements for flexural strength and compressive strength, so it is also called corundum high-strength wear-resistant castables.

Features and application areas

  Corundum high-strength wear-resistant castable has high cold and hot strength, good wear resistance, thermal shock resistance, anti-stripping and good volume stability at high temperature.
  Corundum high-strength wear-resistant castable is mainly used for the front kiln mouth of cement rotary kiln, high-temperature cyclone separator, circulating fluidized bed lining, and the lining part of the steel trough of the heating furnace.

Construction technology

  1. The mixing water should meet the drinking water standard, with a pH of 6-7. Strictly control the amount of water added, and the amount of water added to the material should be accurately weighed.

  2. The mixing temperature of the castable should be between 15℃ and 30℃, and the temperature is 21℃. When the construction is carried out at a temperature lower than the recommended temperature, external heating measures should be taken to increase the construction environment temperature.

  3. The mixing time should be controlled within 5-10 minutes, and it is recommended not to exceed 10 minutes. The mixed material should be poured within 30 minutes.

  4. The vibration of low-moisture castables is critical. The vibrating rod should move up and down in the castable, and when the vibration is about to end, the vibrating rod should be slowly pulled out.

  5. After the casting is completed, the material can be demolded after 18-24 hours according to the hardening of the material, but the material has been completely hardened. Be careful not to damage the surface of the material when demolding.

  6. After demolding, it should be cured at room temperature for 24-72 hours before sintering.
