High-aluminum bricks for steel-making electric furnace roofs are made of selected bauxite clinker as the main raw material, which are formed by high pressure and sintered at high temperature. The main mineral composition is corundum and mullite phases, which have excellent high-temperature mechanical properties and chemical corrosion resistance. In particular, unfired products have more precise dimensions and better thermal shock stability.
