Fused magnesia
Description
The primary characteristics of electrofused magnesium sand products: electrofused magnesium sand products are characterised by structural integrity, dense arrangement, high melting point (up to 2800 ℃), stable chemical properties, high compressive strength, strong insulating properties, resistance to scouring, corrosion resistance, is an important aggregate for metallurgy, building materials, light industry, furnace lining and bulk materials, and an important refractory raw material indispensable to the iron and steel, cement, glass, non-ferrous smelting and other industries. Electrofused magnesia can be used firstly as auxiliary refractory materials such as spraying and patching materials, pounding materials, etc. It is also the refractory raw material used for the production of magnesium-carbon bricks, magnesium-chromium bricks and magnesium bricks. It can also be used as refractory lining in vacuum and non-vacuum induction furnace, electric arc furnace, and it is the ideal material for making magnesium oxide crucible, furnace gallbladder and all kinds of high-temperature casing. Electrofused magnesium sand product characteristics: high purity, crystalline grains of large fusion, point of high knot, dense structure; good thermal shock stability; has outstanding high-temperature flexural strength; has outstanding resistance to slag performance and corrosion resistance; strong thermal conductivity, high degree of insulation.
